The highlight of May was taking and PASSING the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam!
The timing for this exam was perfect to freshen up my skills and knowledge of ‘all’ things HR. The SPHR is recognized as a professionally relevant credential for those who have mastered the strategic and policy-making aspects of HR management.
The last meaningful test I can remember taking was my GE Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt exam back in 2009 and before that it was Master’s school in 2006-07. So, it’s been a while to say the least.
Very thankful I passed and I actually did enjoy studying again. It’s amazing how your perspective changes on studying as you gain more experience.
